Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress, best known for her roles in the film Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Haiin Koun..! She was first known for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s and Tezaab, which she co-starred with veteran actor Anil Koopor. In the following film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared alongside her. Her birthplace was in an Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing at a young age. While still a teenager she attempted acting, but most of those early films did not succeed. Then, she discovered success in Indian film and climbed to the very top. Following her marriage, she took some time away from performing prior to returning. In the last few years, Dixit had a major role to play on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times to win Filmfare Awards. She won eight of them. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India is bestowed to her. Also, she is well known for her charitable works.
