Rosalia

Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is the Spanish Flamenco/Pop performer. From her teens she has been a participant in pop music and flamenco. Her music also strays into other genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as crisp and sweet but having a bit of bite. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally getting a Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami was a collaboration with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. In March 2022 the set began to be released in conjunction with the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. Motomami the album by Rosalia that was awarded three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to win the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
